The Alco ASD-50S9 is a hermetic suction line filter drier designed to absorb moisture and acid in refrigeration and air conditioning systems, as well as filter out impurities. It is compatible with refrigerants such as R-22, R-134a, R-404A, R-407C, and R-507A. The filter drier features a 1-1/8" (28.6 mm) ODF connection size and supports uniflow direction. Its internal construction and compacted bead style ensure minimal pressure drop. The device is service-friendly, equipped with 2 Schrader valves for pressure drop measurement, and includes ODF copper fittings for easy brazing. It offers filtration down to 40 microns and is coated with corrosion-resistant epoxy paint. The maximum allowable pressure is 27.5 bar (g), and it operates within a temperature range of -45°C to +50°C.
